Searching for a trades person is a daunting task. You just have to flick on the tele and everyday there is a show telling you how bad the workmanship was/is. For someone that is a perfectionist, this is therefore stressful time. Please take my guidance. Ignore the other adverts, don’t waste your time. Dave at Ikon Carpentry was excellent. Polite, friendly with animals, friendly with my family, punctual, tidy and above all excellent at what he does. I have already got him back to quote for more work and this will continue for the foreseeable. Thank you Dave.

We had Icon in to build a large fitted bedroom wardrobe. They’ve done a great job. They kept us informed and answered any questions we had. They were always in time. When the project was completed the room was left clean and tidy. Very happy with the result.

I’m delighted to write a review for Dave who created two lovely built-in bookshelves for our living room. Starting from planning phase Dave was providing valuable expert advices to make sure we get the best solution, he is very responsive and pays attention to detail, that allowed to produce the bookshelf’s to a high standard. And last but not least, Dave’s provides services at a reasonable price, hence I’ve got the beautiful bookshelves at a price that worked for me. Overall, I would highly recommend Dave and his services for anyone in the need of custom carpentry work

Really pleased with the project. Dave is a perfectionist. Prior to carrying out the work he spent a bit of time giving advice on my options and where and how to source solid oak wood as I had no clue where to even start. His measurements were accurate with minimal wastage and the attention to detail is fantastic. He completely transformed the stairs. His work is sleek and clean. I will definitely recommend him and have requested another job in the coming months.

Dave also fixed a problem which I hadnt been aware of which has avoided future leaks and advised on how the flooring could be fitted around toilet. Dave came to do some boxing in around a toilet, a small and fiddly job, but undertaken with care and precision. Dave worked efficiently and quickly and the job was finished to the highest standards, I was so pleased the results. He also fixed a previously unseen plumbing issue which meas that I won't have any more leaks! Absolutely brilliant work and would definitely recommend to anyone else who needs a carpenter.
